A little about me
Hi all! My name is Paige McCombs. I am a mother of 7. Renee, Ian, Ariel, Morgan, Meadow, Megan and Ruby. They all attend school in Mountain Home. We have 2 dogs Wicket(Havanese), Nola(Bernese Mtn. Dog). We also have 2 cats, a salt water fish tank, chickens, 2 goats and 1 horse. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, riding my motorcycle, reading, shopping, traveling, playing video games, camping, watching movies and going to concerts. I love elephants and Narwhals. My favorite movie is The Wizard of OZ. My husband is also a teacher and teaches 6th grade at Hacker Middle School.
I decided to become a teacher after serving 11 years in the Air Force as a Jet Engine Mechanic. I received my bachelors degree in Psychology and went through the ABCTE program to receive my teaching certificate in K-8 education and special education. I earned my Masters degree in Education Administration and have recently applied to start my doctorate program (yes I am nuts). I spent a year as a special education para at East before transferring to Bennett Mountain to open up the Jr. High program. In the 2016/17 year I went to West Elementary to accept the Special Education teaching position. When the Jr. High program at Bennett opened the certified position I was super excited and even more so when I got the job. I love this school and this program and couldn't be happier.
